Leading NZ comparison shopping site PriceMe has extended its network of affiliates, with three new local partner sites. AndroidMobile, NZMac.com and NZiPhone.com will all use PriceMe to power the online shopping sections of their sites. The affiliate network has now grown to six partners in total and also includes Consumer, alaTest and TestFreaks.

The new additions to the affiliate network are all technology niche sites and PriceMe promotes related products that target the shopping needs of these sites' audiences. Chris Palmer, marketing director of PriceMe, says that "an affiliate network focused on niche sites adds a lot of value to both the site owners and PriceMe's retailer partners". Mr Palmer explains that the affiliate partners can offer their users a streamlined shopping experience with only relevant, up-to-date information of products and prices available in New Zealand. "This really gives the users of the affiliate sites a quick, bird's eye view of the marketplace without having to leave the site of their interest".

Likewise, PriceMe's retailer partners also benefit by getting access to tech communities in New Zealand. "The model is really win/win for everyone involved" says Palmer.

The PriceMe network affiliates participate in a revenue sharing scheme that is based on the amount of referral traffic that they generate. Retailers pay a small fee for each online shopper referred to them from PriceMe or an affiliate on a pay per click (PPC) basis.

The good results and the feedback from affiliate partners have encouraged PriceMe to grow its affiliate network this year by adding these additional focused NZ niche sites.
