Youth concert promises a goodnight for all.

Organised by the Kawerau Youth Council this event promises to provide entertainment worth your time. About 2 Shine will showcase some of the hottest and talented young performers from around the Bay of Penty.

Hip hop crews, singers,  belly dancers and fire dancers are among the talented line up installed for the night.

The concert will be held on the 16th of June at the Kawerau town hall from 5.30pm

Kawerau District Council youth coordinator Lucy Potter said  this is an event for all of the community to come and enjoy the night with fantastic local talent on offer.

"We also have a special performance by Urban Dance company from Tauranga who has a crew heading to the world hip hop champs in Las Vegas in July." Ms Potter said.  

"We  are also giving audience members the chance to get involved on the night with heaps of spot prizes to be won. Prizes include surf lessons, a mobile phone, t-shirts and much more. So come along and check out the rising stars and enjoy an awesome Saturday night in Kawerau"
