Upgrades for Freedom Walkers - Unique in Fiordland to the Hump Ridge
The Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track is Fiordland's only walking track offering freedom walkers overnight upgrades. This is a popular option for those who want to get out and enjoy Fiordland independently without sacrificing particular comforts of home. Options include private rooms with super king beds, hot showers and heli-packing.
"The facilities are first rate and cater for the whole spectrum of wilderness walkers from spartans to softies." said Clive Copeman a Dunedin photographer who discovered the Hump Ridge while on a photo tour with Jules Lund earlier this year.
Clive is also taking part in the Tuatapere Hump Ridge annual fund raising Celebrity Walk early March 2011, helping fellow walkers improve their photography skills amongst spectacular and diverse scenery.
