Our children’s programmes offer kids the chance to learn valuable skills, meet new friends and most of all have fun!  Programmes include:

• All Sorts Sports
• Birthday Pool & Climbing Parties

School Holiday Programme

Our School Holiday Programme operates four times a year and offers different activities each day to keep the kids entertained from 8.30am to 3.30pm, or 5.10pm. For the December/January Holiday Programme we’ll always meet at the Queenstown Events Centre and go from there!

The programme is split into three brochures:
Junior Programme 5–7 yrs, Dec 24-Jan 29
Senior Programme 8–12 yrs, Dec 24-Jan 29
Programme Extension: All ages, Jan 30-Feb 5

Bookings: You can make a booking via email or in person – no phone bookings sorry!
a) Scan & email a booking form to our staff via
programmes@lakesleisure.co.nz. We will send you email confirmation within one business day.
b) Bring it into the Queenstown Events Centre reception to pay & receive on the spot booking confirmation. Most sessions will get 100% filled, so don’t delay with your bookings!

FURTHER Information

•    Bookings are essential and payment must be made in advance.
•    Bookings will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment.
•    Limited numbers accepted for all sessions – a waiting list system will operate once days are booked out.
•    No refunds will be given for absences or amendments. Extenuating circumstances may be considered for credit towards another day.

OSCAR APPROVED WINZ SUBSIDIES
We are an Oscar accredited programme so families can apply for the Oscar subsidy through WINZ. We encourage applications as it can siginifcantly reduce the cost of the holiday programme for eligible families. WINZ Applications will be accepted up until 5pm on Friday 11 January 2012 and must be made directly with Jendi Paterson. Please drop your completed WINZ application form & Holiday Programme booking form off at our main reception desk, or scan and email them to jendi@lakesleisure.co.nz, and Jendi will call you when your forms are ready to collect. get Rocked – Kids Climbing COURSES:

Our kids climbing courses are designed for 8-12 year olds. They run for 8 weeks each term and cost $80 per term or $10 per session although preference is given to pre-booked children. There’s a limit of 8 kids per class, so we run five sessions per week:

• Tuesday 4pm-5.30pm | 5.30pm-7pm
• Wednesday 4pm-5.30pm | 5.30pm-7pm
• Thursday 5.30pm-7pm (Advanced Class)

All sorts sports

Spark your child’s love of sport through our All Sorts Sports programme. Aimed at kids aged 3 – 6 years old, the All Sorts Sports programme is designed to work on young children’s motor skills such as running, jumping, hopping, skipping, throwing, kicking and catching.

The 30 minute sessions are specifically designed to develop perseverance, build confidence, build their social skills and increase self control in a non-competitive atmosphere to ready children for group sports and school. Click here to view the programme brochure.

The following classes are available during Term 4 until mid December.

• Wednesday 1:30pm-2pm for 3-4 year olds (starts Oct 24)

• Thursday 3:30pm-4pm for 3-4 year olds (starts Oct 18)

• Thursday 4:15pm-4:45pm for 5-6 year olds (starts Oct 18)

Cost: $6/child regardless of whether you drop in or pre-pay.
