It’s all action at SKYCITY this coming Wednesday (26 October) as members of the championship winning SKYCITY Breakers will head down to the Sky Tower to shoot some hoops in the warm up to their first home game at Vector Arena on 28 April. With three wins on the road already this season, the stage is set for a thrilling first tip off against the Sydney Kings and in preparation for the game, the team are making the visit to SKYCITY to meet fans and offer some advice to the future stars of the game.

The stars of New Zealand basketball will also use the opportunity to practice with a development squad from Youthtown.

SKYCITY Breakers General Manager Richard Clarke says it is a great chance for fans to meet their heroes in the shadow of an iconic Auckland landmark.

“This is our first season working with SKYCITY who are our naming rights sponsor for the next three years and this is a great chance to have a run around at the off court Home of the SKYCITY Breakers and offer some coaching tips under the Sky Tower. The players will be coaching the Youthtown players, offering a few tips and signing autographs for the fans that can make it along.”
