Glenbrook Machinery is the New Zealand distributor for the European designed and built Ausa Site Dumpers and Rough Terrain Forklifts. Ausa is the world leader in dumpers with over half a century of experience in the design and manufacture of compact equipment. They offer an extensive range of models covering multiple needs of transport and movement of bulk materials.

The Ausa range includes rigid chassis dumpers from 1,000 to 3,000 kg payload and articulated dumpers from 850 to 10,000 kg. The flagship D 1000 APG is equipped with the biggest swivel skip on the market and is capable of carrying 6.5m2.

Site dumpers are becoming one of the essential pieces of plant on construction sites throughout New Zealand, because they offer so many benefits to operators. For example, manoeuvrability – tight turning radius. They are an all terrain 4WD machine which will go nearly anywhere, even in the wet, and they are relatively compact, allowing access into confined spaces. They also offer accurate tipping ability, which is especially useful when backfilling trenches.

Traditionally, in New Zealand, when earth moving is carried out,  either large articulated Moxys or six wheeler road trucks are used. But Ausa site dumpers are far more versatile and cost effective to run, even if you have two or three working together. The 6.5m2 payload Ausa Swivel Tip Dumper carries as much as a six wheel road truck. Ausa site dumpers are the most logical choice of earth moving plant on small to medium sized civil engineering jobs.

Ausa site dumpers are designed from the ground up for use onsite and offer a lot of benefits, such as a 360 degree view with no blind spots, best operator comfort and the maximum stability on rough terrain thanks to the cleverly designed articulated steering and a unique oscillation system.

Other uses for these dumpers are as a concrete skip for pours, where the concrete truck can’t get close enough, and this offers a cost effective alternative to using a concrete pump. Ausa Site Dumpers can also be set up on high rail systems for use on railways.

The team at Glenbrook Machinery would be glad to talk to you and discuss the cost savings you can achieve in your earthmoving projects today, and would gladly offer you the chance to evaluate an Ausa on your worksite today. Glenbrook also has a fleet of hire machines available at very competitive rates and can deliver anywhere in New Zealand. To find out more about rough terrain vehicles go to www.glenbrook.co.nz .
