Managing Direction and Founder of Home Tech, Paul Nielsen, was first exposed to Solatube in Australia, July 1992, and at that time it was taking Australia by storm. The Solatube had been on programmes like Beyond2000 – it was a revolutionary product and there was a market that was yet to be realised. As Paul says, “In summary, in 1992 we were given the beautiful opportunity with Solatube; a world powerhouse brand and the best product of its type in the world, but that doesn’t mean instant success! We have worked very hard at generating our success and it is mainly through people and perseverance. It could never have happened unless there was hard work, passion and perseverance put into it.

“We have also got to thank the people that have given us business and supported us over that last 24 years, whether it be; people specifying a product, or the trade, or the customers who have had a product installed. Also, most importantly, the people that have been involved in HomeTech Solatube over the last 20 years. At HomeTech we take great pride in having the opportunity to Brighten Your World.
