Fast forward to the last Saturday of the month and you will see Britomart brimming with local art & designers.
The Ministry of Art & Design has teamed up with Tyler St Garage to host the Art & Design Market, a group of around 13 local artists and designers producing exceptional work across art, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and crafts.
It’s all about showcasing fresh, innovative and interesting local design to people looking for something arty on a Saturday morning.
Tyler St Garage presents the perfect backdrop, a raw space that lets the design speak for itself.
Tyler St’s new menu is the ideal date for the Market too. Guests can browse the art and design, enjoy superb local wines (or beers, cocktails et al) and sit down to an exquisite yet relaxed meal including little morsels like pulled pork sliders, grilled tuna salad, oysters with wasabi tartare, snapper ceviche.
The next Market Day is Saturday 25 August from 10.30am-2.30pm.
