Goodsocks offers stylish gift ideas

A new online retailer is on a mission to brighten up kiwi feet. Goodsocks, a recently launched New Zealand website, sources the latest designer socks from around the world.

“Our aim is to bring New Zealanders the latest, funkiest and best designed socks, at great prices”, says owner Maeve Finnegan.

The online sock store sells colourful, quality socks from across the globe, from Stockholm, Sweden to Portland, Oregon.

“We have found a great selection of socks from Europe and the USA. Our socks are the perfect accessory for every outfit - you can wear them with dress shoes, sneakers or even a smart suit for formal wear” says Maeve. “They also add colour and character to the casual jeans and T-shirt look.” Maeve says they plan to continue to expand their range.

Goodsocks is a family business based in the Wairarapa. Maeve, originally from Ireland, says that she was motivated to start Goodsocks after struggling to find fun, fashionable socks locally.

“Each time we returned from visiting family and friends in Europe, our suitcases were bursting at the seams. Among the new clothes were always new colourful and funky socks that we struggled to find in New Zealand.”

With more and more New Zealanders shopping online, Goodsocks saw the opportunity to put a great selection of socks for men and women together in one user-friendly space.
