Air Pacific Focused on Getting Back to Business as Usual

Air Pacific wishes to thank passengers flying today and tomorrow (Tuesday and Wednesday, 18-19 December) for their cooperation and assistance with operating 15 flights to/from Fiji, New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

“With the passing of Tropical Cyclone Evan complete, we have been able to resume the majority of our flights on a delayed rescheduled basis. We are now focused on resetting our network and flight schedule. By tomorrow, we will be well on the way to getting back to business as usual, and we expect to be almost 100% back to normal by Thursday.

“We understand we’re the only airline flying to and from Australia today, and we were also the first airline to bring in passengers from New Zealand; so, we are standing by to assist other airlines and their passengers if needed.

“Our Reservations Call Centre is continuing to operate around-the-clock, but as expected we are experiencing a high number of calls due to the cyclone. As a result, we would encourage all Air Pacific passengers to first check our website www.airpacific.com and our Facebook page for the most current information and updates on their flights.

“On behalf of the entire Air Pacific team, I would again like to say Vinaka Vakalevu or thank you very much to all of our passengers for their patience and understanding over the last few days of this cyclone-based disruption. We look forward to operating our normal schedules very soon.
