BLENHEIM

Marlborough’s stadium is one of the cornerstones in the region’s recreational facilities – with gym and fitness centre, sauna, squash courts, meeting rooms and indoor courts as well as one of the best aquatic centres in the country.

The Blenheim complex brings half a million people through the doors each year and numbers are growing.

The new swimming facilities are proving very popular and the stadium prices are competitive compared with other public facilities around the country.

Casual admission to pools:

Adult swim $5.00
Child swim (under 16) $3.00
Senior citizen (65+) or community services card holder $4.50
Family swim (2 adult 2 children) $12.00

While you’re at the pool you can join one of the regular aquacise classes - at no extra charge.

For an extra $5, you can have a sauna and enjoy the steam room.

Casual admission to the gym is reasonable too; a single visit is $10 while it’s $5 to join a group fitness session.

Anyone who wants to make regular use of the facilities for a longer period can take out a membership, which greatly reduces admission costs.

  • $15 a week over 12 months for full use of the gym, aquatics, sauna, steam and group fitness
  • $12.50 a week over 12 months for either the aquatics with sauna and steam and aqua aerobics OR the gym with group fitness.
