Seniors Expo 2013

The Marlborough Seniors Expo will be held for the fifth time on Wednesday 20 March 2013 from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm at the Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000. An organising committee has been established to plan the day, which will have a similar format to the previous successfully run expos.

The day is an opportunity for older members of our community to find out about services available to them says Lyne Reeves, Council’s Community Development Advisor and a member of the organising committee.

There will be approximately 80 stalls providing information ranging from recreation, hobby and social activities through to how to keep yourself safe, government entitlements, legal issues etc. There will also be other activities, including entertainment and demonstrations.

Entry is free and light refreshments will also be provided at no cost.

The organising committee is keen to hear from groups that are interested in having a stall at the expo. Spaces are limited so now is the time to make contact by ringing Lyne Reeves Ph: 03 520 7400.
