TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LIQUOR BAN NAPIER CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT

Pursuant to clause 8 of the Napier City Public Places Liquor Control Bylaw 2004, notice is hereby given of the temporary suspension of the prohibition of the consumption, possession, and bringing in, of liquor in the Central Business District.

The suspension shall have effect from: 8.00pm on Tuesday 12 February to 6.00am Monday18 February 2013, to enable the citizens of Napier and visiting participants attending the special events of the Art Deco weekend, to enjoy the alfresco celebrations.

This suspension relates only to that area described in the bylaw as the Central Business District and does not apply to, or have any effect upon, the prohibition in any other areas.
