GABA (the Gay Auckland Business Association) and the New Zealand AIDS Foundation are very proud to again host the VIP Marquee at Auckland’s Big Gay Out on Saturday 10th February.

From 12 noon GABA Members and their friends can visit the GABA/NZAF VIP Marquee for a complimentary beverage and sample delicious gourmet finger food supplied by Dawson’s Catering.  A cash bar will also be available to quench summer thirsts.

THE GABA/NZAF VIP Marquee is a large tent in an area near the main stage where guests will be able to relax out of the weather, meet up with friends and mix with the BGO Special VIP Guests.
The Big Gay Out is held in Coyle Park a large tree lined reserve jutting out into Auckland’s Waitamata Harbour. It is located at the end of Point Chevalier Road.

GABA President Michael Richardson says: `This is a wonderful occasion. Last year over 15,000 of our community and friends had a special day. Be there this year!  If you are not a member you can join on the day or renew your membership and enter free. We are also selling GlamStand tickets for special viewing of the first Auckland Pride Festival Parade in ten years, which has to be a must see event.

GABA is hosting the Mardi Gras inspired GlamStand drawing on the success of the Sydney GlamStand, renowned as the best place to the watch the world famous Mardi Gras Parade. The GABA GlamStand will offer a range of premium view options where guests can party the Pride Parade away in a comfortable setting, with access to good food and refreshments.

The Auckland Pride Parade 2013 will take place on Saturday 16 February.
Tickets to the GABA GlamStand are also available from iTicket and various retailers from $85 each.

Michael Richardson says: `GABA is very happy to be working with the Auckland Pride Board and to be involved with the new Pride festival in a meaningful way. The GlamStand will provide grand-stand seating for GABA members and invited guests including VIPs. The format is consistent with other pride parades and similar events run internationally with great success. We believe there will be demand for high-quality seating and facilities and this is an opportunity to enhance the profile of Auckland Pride, GABA, and the wider gay community. Any profits will go to the GABA Charitable Trust.’
