Shoe designer's sole passion: comfort & style

Searching out the soul of comfort technology and developing on-trend shoe design are the primary goals for Laura Boulton a new senior designer at Ziera Shoes.

An experienced international footwear designer, Ms Boulton joins Ziera from Spanish footwear company Camper where she was a designer.

Her new role enables Ms Boulton to draw upon the latest European trends and inspirations to create beautifully comfortable footwear for women, Ziera says.

A self-confessed fan of Salvatore Ferragamo, UK-born, Spanish-speaking Ms Boulton is fascinated by the challenge of mixing style and comfort.

“In my design work, I have researched the extreme trends hitting the high fashion catwalks, and thought about longevity and wearability,” says Ms Boulton.

“I have always looked to see what trends translate well for someone who wants to wear them all day, their way. I think about looks I want to wear that work with my lifestyle.”

Ms Boulton is looking forward to working for the iconic New Zealand shoe company.
