First 2Degrees store for New Plymouth opens

The very first 2Degrees store for New Plymouth opened over the weekend in Taranaki's biggest mall 'Centre City Shopping Centre'.

There was a big line out the door of the mall as customers went in to get there double top ups and free phones, not forgetting the massive exclusive savings aswell.

infonews.co.nz arrived just as customer Michael brought a LG phone worth over $800 the largest sale for the morning.

Michael had been waiting in line for over 15 miniutes for the store to open and told infonews.co.nz "It was great to see a photo of the 2Degrees CEO and his partner outside the store. The staff were great and very funny"

When infonews.co.nz went into one of New Plymouths Telecom stores in the mall there was just one customer, and in Vodafone just metres from the new 2Degrees store was no customers.

New Plymouth residents are delighted with the new store and radio station The Rock was at the grand opening with sausage sizzles and drinks.
