Atleast one dead in head-on tragedy, Taranaki

BREAKING NEWS: An infonews.co.nz exclusive investigation can now confirm tonight that atleast one person is dead in a head on car accident in Taranaki.

The accident occured on SH3 near Te Roti, Taranaki.

The Taranaki Rescue Helicopter transfered a driver to the Taranaki Base Hospital in serious condition. 

It is unknown if the person that was transported by helicopter was the person who has died.

Ambulances, police and the fire service also attended the scene.

The road is closed and detours are in place.

The Taranaki Rescue Helicopter Trust is warning all Taranaki residents to stay safe on the roads threw their Facebook page.
