Challenge Family in North America chooses Athletepath’s event platform to provide personalized notices and social networking for triathletes and their friends, family and fans

Over 6,000 triathletes will toe the line at Challenge Family triathlon events across North America this year, and each athlete will be better supported and more connected than ever before.

For the very first time athletes and the public can discover everyone they know participating in Challenge Family triathlon events, and socially “follow” them to receive race notifications via Athletepath.  As athletes register, they’re able to seamlessly share their upcoming race across social networks. Meanwhile athletes’ friends and followers are instantly notified and encouraged to “wish them luck” before the race and join in, and send them congratulations and “high fives” afterward.

On race day, athletes, friends and family will be notified via text, email or social media updates when the race starts, as their favorite athletes progress through the course, and when they finish. Throughout their journey, each supporter can publish “high fives”, “hugs” and write messages of encouragement to athletes directly through Athletepath.
