Youth in Politics June Political Poll: "will give a party in particular a massive wake up call"

The New Plymouth Youth in Politics June Political Poll is expected to be made public in the next few weeks and owner Michael Riley says "It is going to give a party in particular a massive wake up call".

The Youth in Politics Facebook page, owned by 16 year old Michael Riley asked for 18 year old aged likers + to vote on the monthly Political Poll. The poll reached 300 votes by its close deadline Youth in Politics revealed today.

"Nine parties were voted on in the political poll, those included National, Labour, Greens, Internet, NZ First, Mana, ACT, Conservatives and the Maori Party" Riley said.

The political poll could be concerning for some of the New Plymouth MP candidates, he said.

Michael Riley created New Plymouth Youth in Politics on Facebook late last year to engage young people aged 13+ in local and govermental politics.

The page has recently hit over 500 Facebook likes.
