Student critical after central city accident

BREAKING NEWS: A young year 13 New Plymouth high school student is in critical condtion after a central city accident in New Plymouth this afternoon.

The accident occured after 12.30pm on Currie Street in a carpark building.

New Plymouth Youth in Politics understands that the student was on a study break when the accident occured.

Police, ambulance and fire service blocked off the street of Currie St when the man was found by members of the public.

It has been reported that the man fell off the carpark building onto a vehicle and as at 1.30pm was on life support at Taranaki Base Hospital.
