De Laval in January installed its biggest-ever under one roof robotic milking process in the world on a South Canterbury dairy farm.
It operates in a 1500 cow barn. The automation centres on an at-will milking regime based on the demand from the farmer – and the animal.
The 1500 cow barn and its automation has been in the process of commissioning since the end of 2014.
