Photography is an incredible art form, capturing an instant while still being able to tell a full story in every image. Event photography is a particularly challenging art, as photographers must compose their shots in response to unpredictable developments, and there is no more challenging an event than a wedding. VignotoPhoto has specialised in event photography for some time, but have said goodbye to it by donating their services to a burlesque fundraiser, before redesigning their website to focus solely on their weddings.
VignotoPhoto used to provide a range of photography services but has specialised in weddings in recent years. Having moved to Hawke’s Bay in late 2014, chief photographer Michael Shultz enhanced his professional photography services and decided to specialise in wedding photography, where the stakes are highest, but the results are the most emotionally powerful, and physically beautiful.
To say goodbye to event photography, the company donated their services to burlesque dancer Cherry Boomb, for a fundraiser on July 30th 2015 at The Cabana. As New Zealand’s Miss Burlesque 2015, she is currently raising funds to get to the World Championships in the UK later this year.
A spokesperson for Vignoto Photo explained, “I was really honoured to be able to donate my photographic services to help Cherry achieve her goal of getting to those championships. She sold out our local legendary venue, The Cabana, on a Thursday night in the middle of winter, making it an especially impressive achievement. The photographs will be an important part of her continued fundraising and will help her command the attention of those attending the world championships early on, building anticipation toward her upcoming routines and more. It was a great way to say goodbye to more general event photography, and offered many of the same challenges as a wedding - capturing vibrancy, excitement, and real passion.”
VignotoPhoto is a Wedding Photography company based in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand and run by Michael Schultz. The company believes that wedding photography should tell the full story of the day, and this is why all their wedding options offer full day coverage of around 10-15 hours. Their packages are designed to fit every need and budget. For more information on their wedding options, visit: http://vignotophoto.co.nz/wedding-options
