Customers are certainly enjoying the cheaper prices, and customer service afforded by Jamie Karl, the owner of Tap That and he advises that he has a raft of new tablets coming out, with the new core m and cherry trail processors, usb 3/c, more ram just in time for Christmas - and many more to come in the New Year, so it is a time of a lot of new models - and Jamie will be stocking the best of them.

As Jamie says, “I enjoy helping customers, and I actually feel good about what my business does - provide cheaper but decent devices to the public. It's really not a commonly available possibility - and my customers often tell me this, when they find my store. Of course, all those crappy cheapie tablets on Trademe, and in chain stores, are not a good advertisement for what I am doing with more reliable and more modern models, so I think something I would like to broadcast, along with our good customer service, and prices, is that our devices are not like those slow, low quality devices you buy cheaply at big chain stores - they are instead comparable to the latest generations of known branded products - more of a 'middle market' than a pure budget market. My customers are happy with these devices, they have specs that are modern - the Chinese market has a slew of updates every year, starting close to Christmas (we are in one now - with the latest being 8300, 8500, 8700 cherry trails, usb 3, core m chipsets, more ram etc.)”.

Tap That seeks to bring the ease and functionality of tablet computing to the greater public and aspire to source affordable high-end products. There is a vast array of tablets on the market, but also a labyrinth of technical complexity that can be difficult to navigate. Technology should enrich and simplify everyday life, not complicate it and Jamie strives to help consumers make the best choices – choices that are tailored to their specific needs – and to make reliable, user-friendly computing accessible to as many people as possible.
