Christmas Pensioner Morning Teas

Two special morning teas were held last week for the residents of Franklin District Council’s pensioner units. The morning teas gave residents a chance to celebrate the Christmas season with Council Officers, contractors and elected members.


The events, organised by Mayor Mark Ball and his wife Catherine, Council CEO Sally Davis and Council Officers, were enjoyed by all. For residents of the Albert Street pensioner units it was also an opportunity to reflect on the huge upgrade that took place on their units this year.


In a speech Mayor Mark Ball thanked residents for attending and wished them all an enjoyable Christmas season.
