For those who are looking to get some work done on their garden, getting a landscape designer in to have a look over the area and design their garden is key. Shape Landscaping have an award-winning in-house landscaper, Alexander McLew who is on hand to guide his clients through the design process. “Successful gardens are carefully planned through to the smallest details”, says McLew. “My step by step design process guides you through an easy progression of stages until your garden is completed”.

The first stage of getting a design done for any client’s garden is a site consultation to establish a design brief, and this is the opportunity for people to discuss with the designer what they like and what they don’t like, and any ideas they have for the property.

The next stage in the landscape design process is to develop an overall concept plan. This includes sketches and photos of materials and plants, which will help to illustrate the plan. After the concept plan is agreed upon and/or is developed into a final plan, a landscape construction plan and/or necessary detailed drawings are then produced, depending on how complex the job is. Once they have all this, the Shape Landscaping team can then quote on the job for their client.

In the last six months Shape Landscaping have created high-end landscape designs for people living in Auckland from as far south as Pukekohe and Karaka, through to Remuera, Saint Heliers, and Mount Albert.

Shape Landscaping have done many great landscape designs in Auckland, and people can see examples of these on their website at http://www.shapelandscaping.co.nz . They also have a dedicated team to implement the landscape design, with great workmanship and dedication to detail.
