PAHIATUA

A shortage of volunteers is threatening the future of Pahiatua's GirlGuiding community, with not enough leaders signing on to help out. We would hate for the girls to miss out on Guiding because we simply don't have leaders to continue it!

Volunteer leaders are vitally important to the work we do; we need volunteers from a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds to ensure girls are growing up within a diverse, supportive, and challenging world. There is training included in the role, so we don’t need people to be experts - energy and enthusiasm go a long way!

We run Pippins (age 5 – 6), Brownies (age 7 – 9.5), Guides (age 9.5 – 12.5) and Rangers (age 12.5 - 17).

If you or anyone in your network is interested in working with children and wants to support girl empowerment, or if you know of any girls who would enjoy getting involved, please get in touch.
