The Big Bang Adventure Race is back once again on 4th November. Teams will climb, pedal and splash their way through the top secret course across the Kapiti/Horowhenua region.  Grab a friend or two, get outdoors and enjoy the challenge!

The emphasis is on participation and fun rather than competition “obviously there are those out there who want to win but we don’t focus on this.,” says Event Director Carrie Yaxley “We want people to come with their mates and have a great day, whilst taking in the stunning scenery we have around here, it’s a recipe for a great day really”

The actual location and make-up of the event is not released until the night before with the course map given out on race day. If you are up for a surprise and challenge or two then this event is for you as mystery activities also form part of the event. In the past these have included IRB rides, tight rope walking and raft running to name a few. Yaxley says ‘We are very excited about what we have in store for this year’s race, it’s going to be a good one!”

There has been a steady rise in entry numbers over the past few years but 2016 was a sell out for Big Bang Adventure. To secure your place and check out the details of the event head to www.bigbangadventure.co.nz. Entries open now.
