Auckland Racing Club & Event Centre Ellerslie Partner With Auckland Tourism For DHL NZ Lions Series 2017

As Auckland is the Host City to the upcoming DHL New Zealand Lions Series 2017, Auckland Racing Club and Event Centre Ellerslie have partnered with Auckland Tourism Events & Economic Development to deliver a pop up campervan park from the 5th June to the 10th July.

This is your chance to eat, sleep and breathe the DHL New Zealand Lions Series by staying amongst fellow rugby fans in this centrally located pop-up campervan park. The Ellerslie Racecourse Campervan Parking will be open only on set nights over the Rugby Tour as follows:

 

• Open 5 June – 8 June 2017
• Open 21 June – 25 June 2017
• Open 6 July – 10 July 2017

 

Auckland is expecting more than 34,000 visitors during the Series so campervan park availability will be limited. Auckland has tight restrictions on where campervans can park, with Auckland Council regularly monitoring freedom camping, so book with Event Centre Ellerslie now so you don't miss out.

There are two easy ways to book. You can either fill in the online booking form, or complete the downloadable booking form and email to reception@ellerslie.co.nz.​

• Temporary toilet and shower facilities
• Wholesome and potable water available
• Dump Station Facility
• General waste bins
• 6 Bay power charging station for Campervans
• Security
• Light breakfast food items and barista coffee will be available each morning from the Campervan park
• Bar facilities on designated nights from 4pm, offering light meals, beverages and free Wi-Fi​
