A Heartwarming Story of Healing

Babu love to hear good news stories, especially those where Babu have played a part in the helping a family heal.  From this delighted Mother, we share the story of Nate.

About 20 percent of babies and young children have eczema. It usually starts in infancy, with 65 percent of patients developing symptoms in the first year of life and 90 percent developing symptoms before age 5. Eczema typically comes and goes. It isn't contagious, but because it's intensely itchy, it can be very uncomfortable, and scratching can be a problem.  In baby Nate’s case, it was extreme.

‘We have been treating Nate's eczema since he was just four months old. We have tried many moisturisers, balms and lotions but he still scratched and scratched. We have learnt of his food allergies and are working on those but the eczema still remains. Nate's face was oozing, crusty and cut from all the irritation.”
