Functional sport meets feminine fashion with the introduction of Keds’ Studio Range as part of the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection available now at Hannahs, inspired by and designed for the girl on-the-go.
The over 100-year-old brand dedicated to empowering women introduces a fresh range of silhouettes and timeless court classics that further establish the brand’s iconic style.
The light and airy collection proves that the fitness movement has moved beyond pure performance to a focus on everyday wellness and balance. The collection was influenced by studio culture with breathable and functional materials.
“This season we challenged ourselves to design a collection of shoes that provides features and benefits that matter to our ladies, without losing the fashion details she’s come to expect from Keds,” said Holly Curtis, VP of Global Product.

Purposefully designed, the Keds Studio collection offers a minimalistic construction with thoughtful, performance-inspired details resulting in breathable, comfortable footwear. Features include lightweight jersey and Dri-Freeze® technology for ultimate breathability, molded foot beds and contoured arch shapes for support, padded Neoprene at the heels for cushion, lightweight EVA foam with breathable perforations and added arch support with channels for ventilation. The Studio Leap in Light Grey Jersey features a CVO upper pattern with fixed gore laces and the Studio Liv in Black or Charcoal Jersey offers a slip on iteration which offer a completely new, lightweight style and offering to the classic Keds collection.
“Our ladies are our main source of inspiration,” said Keds President Gillian Meek. “We know she’s looking for equal parts fashion and function, so we’ve created a collection that finds that balance and works with her modern style. Whether she’s heading to a studio class after work or brunching with friends on the weekend, we want to offer a collection of shoes that takes her where she needs to go, and feels as good as it looks.
Also available new this season along the lines of a blend of sport and fashion is the comeback of the Anchor, a heritage-inspired style taken from the Keds tennis shoe archives with a padded collar and tongue, and textured toe bumper. Anchor is currently available in either black or white canvas, light blue chambray or a light gold linen upper.
In keeping with the active and breathable offerings, the ventilated midsoles featured on the lace-to-toe style Driftkick features elastic lacing and an inner perforated Neoprene bootie, available in either black or charcoal.
