LimeRed’s forte is website designing and there is nothing they can’t provide in the designing space, and with their great design team they can give your website the looks as well as the functionality. The following steps outline the process LimeRed follow to build your website. All of their website packages, unless otherwise stated, include the visual design and layout of up to 10 pages by LimeRed Design. This base package can include copywriting and/or any of our other optional extras, including additional pages.

Firstly, your current website (if you have one) is analysed on a range of key factors. These can include, but are not limited to quality of current copy, site structure, representation of current branding, mobile-friendliness, SEO strategy and other relevant information. This leads into the design workshop phase of the website and subsequent project planning.

Secondly, LimeRed hold a design workshop with you in order to formulate a design brief. If you have an existing website they review this to look at the styles, colours and general layout of the website content. If they are building a new website for you, they want to know what websites you like.

The third step involves mocking up two different options for you, for how your home page could look, along with up to two additional site pages, for your review, and after you have approved the visual design, the website development work (coding) will commence.

The original visual design mock-up provides for consistent brand styling across the website, and they then deploy the website template to a temporary site. They will then add content provided by you, re-use existing website content (if applicable) and/or undertake additional copywriting for you if this option has been selected.

Number five is website training, with a series of short training videos from the LimeRed Design website. These cover basic instructions you need to maintain your website. Additional 1:1 training can be provided upon request. Clients can also choose to have a website maintenance package – if they’d like LimeRed to take care of the website going forward

Upon your sign-off, LimeRed will facilitate the transfer from designing site to live production site. Once your new website is live, the following post-go-live tasks are undertaken: Google updates, submitting your site to the Google index, creating and attaching Google Analytics tracking code, adding your business to Google Maps (if applicable), SEO compliance, and checking page titles and descriptions and updating these where applicable.

Finally, once the go-live process has been completed, further changes (outside of maintenance packages) are charged under a time and materials basis, so for more information on website design, web design and graphic design please go to www.limered.co.nz.
