What we need in our lives is more eco friendly water bottles, and less of the disposable ones that have become so popular, as this is leading to a buildup of these plastic bottles in our landfills that is reaching astronomical proportions.

You may have read what’s bad about plastic bags and decided to reduce the amount of disposables you consume, and that’s a great direction to be heading in. But there’s another problem in the plastic-trash minefield that needs tackling, and that’s the plethora of plastic water bottles.

Water bottles are made of completely recyclable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastics, but PETs don't biodegrade they photodegrade, which means they break down into smaller fragments over time. Those fragments absorb toxins that pollute our waterways, contaminate our soil, and sicken animals (which we then eat).

So, it’s the perfect time for Just Water to introduce their ‘Free My Wally’ bottle, as part of their environmental campaign. They are asking people to join the ‘My Wally’ revolution, where companies will be able to get personalised bottles, and never have to buy cups again.

Your My Wally bottle will keep contents cold (or hot) for up to 18 hours, and can be personalised with your own name. There is no condensation on the outside of the bottle, and they are BPA free. Each refill means one less plastic bottle.

Here’s how to get involved.
