Evolve Training Academy is offering training for staff who operate TTM mobile operation vehicles. They assess and train staff on their driving capabilities (Class 1 and 2). Mobile operations can be some of the trickiest and highest risk situations where staff work. It is important that staff know how to work in a mobile operation safely and in compliance with CoPTTM (Code of practice for temporary traffic management).

They offer a full driving assessment and training for Class 1 which covers Advance Warning Variable Message Sign, horizonal arrow boards and pilot, work and tail pilot vehicles. For Class 2 they cover Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA), light arrow system (LAS), shadow driving, tail driving and work vehicle driving.

The company has also developed a mobile app which meets NZTA Class 2 Assessment criteria. The app and report has been developed to further meet all TTM specific requirements. The app is used for all assessments and training. Evolve provides a full report and rating. The areas of improvement are reported back to managers within 24 hours. The app provides timely reporting, post incident report and driver assessment, prior learning evidence, pre-employment checks and evidence of competency-based assessment and training.

TTM vehicle summary data looks at trends to identify opportunities for improvement within the business, identifying patterns and areas for improvement. The course will provide decreased incidents through targeted training on key identified problem patterns; therefore providing financial and safety benefits to the business

Evolve’s driving instructors are NZTA Class 1 and 2 I endorsed and Level 2/3 Practising STMS and approved NZQA assessors.
