At Petone’s Sign Foundry, 2018 has been the year that has kept on giving.

They say that time moves fast when you’re busy, and for Sign Foundry, it seems like Christmas has arrived more quickly than ever. For them, Christmas is not only a time where the hard-working team can lay down the tools, spend time with family and friends, catching the sun and waves. It is a time to reflect on the year that has been – its ups and downs, and begin planning for 2019

Perhaps the work they are most proud of is with Fire and Emergency New Zealand, as their fleet was overhauled with a re-brand. There is something uniquely challenging when working with emergency vehicles – the vinyl work needs to be high quality and consistent across the entire fleet. That’s why FENZ turned to Sign Foundry. With existing work with emergency fleet branding, FENZ knew they could reply on Sign Foundry to deliver a high-quality graphic, that could be rolled out across the fleet nationwide.

2018 has also been a year of recognition for Sign Foundry. The team travelled up to Auckland to the New Zealand Sign and Display Awards, an event which recognizes excellence within the sign and display industry. Sign Foundry walked away with the People’s Choice Award for their eye-catching and colourful Havana Coffee Works wrap.

Sign Foundry also grew in 2018, with the acquisition of Displayschemes. The merger means changes for some businesses, but is an exciting process for the team at Sign Foundry and Displayschemes. It is a chance to increase capability, production and installation processes with a larger team and more equipment.
