Meg of Meg’s Tailoring fame is keen to advise people to get in early if they are planning that end of year wedding, and not just because she and her team are so busy. There are many reasons why the bride and her helpers should start organising for their summer nuptials and the first is that word, ‘organising’. As Meg’s long experience has proved, you can never be too organised as, unfortunately, things can go wrong, so the more long-term planning involved the better.

Meg and the team suggest meeting with them as early as possible, several months before the wedding date, as they are undoubtedly the best people to advise and counsel on all aspects of the wedding outfits. Their professionalism and knowledge can prove invaluable when talking about all the preparation the bride and her family and friends will need to complete.

The Meg’s Tailoring team are busy all year round designing, creating and fitting bridal gowns as well as restyling and altering any gown that the bride might provide and are very  adept at taking in or letting out bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses. At Meg’s Tailoring their experienced seamstresses can remake and re-model any gown that is brought into them, including hemming, and it is in the capacity of alterations that they really excel.

For those really well organised ‘brides to be’, who may have already bought their ensembles, the helpful and experienced team at Meg’s Tailoring advise that they find as the wedding day draws closer, many brides and their bridesmaids have either lost weight (or put a wee bit on) and are therefore in need of some professional alteration therapy. This happens on a regular basis and the girls at Meg’s Tailoring are always happy to oblige with a nip and tuck here, or a small letting out of seems there, thereby ensuring that the bride and her entourage look absolutely fabulous on the day.

Don’t forget the fabulous new styles from Kenny & Harlow, and also you can now bring in your last year’s winter clothes for restyling, so for more information on bridal wear Newmarketrestyling clothes Auckland and clothing restyling Takapuna please go to .
