Girl Next Door Host Fashion Show at Hilton Pink Ribbon Breakfast

Sunday, May 26th was the brunch fashion event of the season for Girl Next Door. The fashion boutique had the honour of being a part of the Pink Ribbon Breakfast at Queenstown’s Hilton Hotel.

Hosted by Remarkables Primary School, the event was a real hit. Girl Next Door got to showcase their wonderful latest collections and styles alongside Minx Shoes and Cutting Edge.

The fashion show was a really spectacular moment for the breakfast, as teachers from Remarkables Primary School were given the chance to walk the runway in Girl Next Door fashions. They strutted down the runway having an absolute ball of a time in beautifully styled clothes.

Breakfast was served with a glass of Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rose, and the food itself was deliciously tasty. It was an event not to be missed. Everyone had a wonderful time, and for such a good cause, too.

The Pink Ribbon Breakfast is a fundraising campaign run by the Breast Cancer Foundation. It occurs in May each year, and kiwi women from up and down the country get together with groups both intimate or extravagant, to host a breakfast and raise money for the cause.

Last year, over $2.1 million was raised across the country for breast cancer research and patient support. Girl Next Door hopes that the amazing turnout, at $60 a head, resulted in some excellent donations towards this year’s fundraising.

The wonderful ladies at Girl Next Door are always keen for an opportunity to give back to the community. There are always ways you can donate to charity, and a fashion show was their way of using their boutique brand for good.
