The whole of Queenstown has been busy partying and celebrating winter over the past week with the annual Queenstown Winter Festival. The festival happens every year and runs across the whole city, lighting the place and livening it up with events, experiences and attractions from the 20th – 26th June.

The main festival grounds this year were at Earnslaw Park on Queenstown’s Waterfront, but there were festivities happening right across the city centre, along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and all the way up to Cardrona Alpine Resort.

Winter Fest is arguably the winter event of the year in New Zealand, and masses flock from around the country to enjoy the festivities on their winter break. There are tons of free events, from a silent disco, live music at the Bathhouse, to a treasure hunt for the kids!

Girl Next Door are among the Queenstown locals who have been celebrating this past week with some exclusive festivities in-store. Their winter collection of Charlo has just been released, and it is full of winter staples to make anyone Winter Fest-ready in the blink of an eye.

People have been taking to the streets of Winter Fest in style with a new season kimono from Charlo. The perfect outerwear item for festivities, this design features a long or short swooping back to a sleeved, draping kimono. The piece comes in a range of prints for any festival style!

The Charlo range is still available in store for the rest of the season, so if you plan on visiting Queenstown anytime this winter, Girl Next Door has you sorted!

Queenstown has some brisk winter days and you’ll need more than just a jacket to warm up. Luckily Girl Next Door has a huge range of winter accessories available, from cute (and practical!) beanies to warm, woolly scarves.

To shop their whole range pop in to the boutique itself on Hawthorne Drive, or shop online today at https://girlnextdoor.co.nz/
