GVI Electric has been championing New Zealand’s transition to a leaner, greener driving future for many years. As part of their continued efforts to get more Kiwis behind the wheel of a zero-emisisons vehicle, the company is attending the third EVworld Expo, Champions Awards and Industry Conference this August 2019.
Occurring at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, the expo is focused on allowing potential customers of the EV market to experience what it is like to drive an electric vehicle, and to get the information surrounding eco-friendly driving directly from a panel of professionals. Furthermore, companies in the EV industry – such as GVI Electric – are recognised and awarded for their efforts in the Drive Electric initiative in Aotearoa.
The first night of EVworld features the Champions Awards ceremony, where four EV Champions will be recognised for their contributions to the cause. Then, following an expansion to two entire days for the 2019 expo, the industry conference will be a chance for professionals to come together and provide practical guidance, business cases and debate topics. The Friday and Saturday are dedicated to public exposure – encouraging non-industry attendees to try electric cars for sale in the current New Zealand market, as well as e-bikes and scooters.
This is all in an effort to drive New Zealand towards a greener future, and GVI Electric’s participation in this event signifies their dedication to the cause. Business partners of the company will also be attending the event, such as the organisation Leading the Charge and Drive Electric, so any EV enthusiasts should ensure they make an appearance.
