By now, the entire community of technology enthusiasts is well aware of AMD’s line of Ryzen 3000 series CPUs, which are steadily becoming the ultimate go-to for any custom PC being built worldwide. Computer Lounge, a New Zealand-based technology and computer company, is bringing that incredible line of processors to Kiwi gamers, graphic designers, streamers and more.

The new processors utilise AMD’s patented new “Zen 2” Architecture, or the “Matisse Series”. The biggest changes are, ironically, how much smaller they have made many of the components. The new 7nm node design on the CPUs means that more transistors fit onto one chip, yielding a potentially higher clock speed and increasing power efficiency. This comes as a shock to Intel, the previously undisputed kings of the CPU, as this brings the top-performers of the Ryzen 3000 series level with the performance of Intel’s i-9 990k CPU. Most pertinently, AMD allows PC builders the world over to access this performance from a much lower price point.

The 3000 series offers five new processors. Each one is a reincarnation of the 2000 series CPUs AMD released a few years ago, and their performance speeds, threads and boost frequencies all take an impressive jump. Most notably, these CPUs decimate the game across single-thread and multi-thread processing. Gamers utilise single-thread performance and will be highly impressed by the smooth playing experience, especially when the CPUs are combined with AMD’s Navi GPUs. And graphic designers, workplace innovators and coders will all see the benefits of the Ryzen 3000 series multi-thread performance.
