Zorilla Launching New Solid Cologne in Mid-October

Cologne and perfume have been associated with men for decades. Many men enjoy having a signature scent. But even though male perfume has been historically popular, the modern men’s grooming industry is always coming up with something new.

Online cosmetics retailer, Zorilla, has been instrumental in bringing the new wave of men’s makeup to Australasia, and now they’ve added colognes to their line-up.

While liquid colognes have been the more common option for a long time, the new trend is solid colognes. Stored in bars, solid colognes are a low-hassle option for any man wanting to elevate their image.

Zorilla’s current colognes, Zed and Why, have both been on offer since the end of last year, and are inspired by fragrances from legendary Spanish fashion designer Paco Rabanne. These solid colognes have been recently repackaged to a foam free box insert. With an embossed black tin, they are even slicker than ever, and more sustainable than ever, as each tin lasts up to six months.

The upcoming fragrance, Ex, is slated for release in mid-October. Zorilla has stated that the cologne will be a classic summer number, made locally, with a beeswax and coconut oil base, just like the previous colognes on offer.

Zed and Why were both on offer at the recent Auckland Allergy and Healthy Living Show, and proved a hit. For those looking for 100% natural options, Zorilla is also planning to roll out essential oil-based cologne in 2020.
