Laboratory testing services company Eurofins announced their participation in the 10th OCEANIAFOODS conference in Auckland which occurred from 3-4 September, 2019 at the Rydges Hotel. A world leader in food, pharma, and environmental laboratory testing, Eurofins is a proud Silver Sponsor in the recent conference entitled Welcome to SMARTER DATA 2019: Food Composition Information in this Digital Age.

The event invited food composition experts from across the South Pacific as guest speakers. The main objective of the occasion was to facilitate a conversation amongst experts and share their knowledge on the topics of generational change, management, and the use of food composition data in the region.

Being the most trusted and essential food industry partner, Eurofins took part in the important conversation and acted as one of the silver sponsors, providing added support to the food industry. 

OCEANIAFOODS is the pacific regional operation of INFOODS (the International Network of Food Data Systems), established under the auspices of the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in 1984. 

INFOODS is a worldwide network of food composition experts whose goal is to improve the quality, availability, reliability, and use of food composition data. It also serves as a forum for global standardisation for food composition data activities.

OCEANIAFOODS is one of eleven regional data centres of INFOODS and incorporates 23 predominantly South Pacific states from Australasia, Micronesia, Melanesia and Polynesia.
