With both local and international designers showcasing their brands, no matter who’s showing, there is always a real buzz around this time of the year, and Wendy’s Boutique are no exception. Fashion Weekend ran from Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September, which took place at Aotea Square and Auckland Town Hall following the four trade-focused days that are New Zealand Fashion Week.

Featuring the best the industry has to offer Fashion Weekend is home to in-season shows and seminars, offering an early glimpse at key spring/summer trends and the latest ranges from some of New Zealand’s best-loved brands. People are always urged to get in early as tickets go very fast.

Created in 2001, by Dame Pieter Stewart - NZFW forms the backbone of the New Zealand fashion and beauty industry. As a platform that enables local and international designers to showcase and promote their collections and brand, the goal of NZFW is to provide a launching pad for designers to grow their business both nationally and internationally.

NZFW has evolved from a trade and industry event to become a multifaceted style showcase that engages thousands of fashion-focused delegates throughout the week, before inviting the style-savvy public to the party during NZ Fashion Weekend. The event not only drives brand awareness for the designers involved, but for a range of other fashion and lifestyle brands, and these brands tap into the power of the event as a platform to talk directly to an audience of well over 30,000 attendees along with its wider reach through the millions of dollars of media coverage and social media engagement it generates.

Wendy’s Boutique showcase many of the designers involved in Fashion Week, and everyone is looking forward to perusing the fabulous spring/summer fashions and to looking for them on the Wendy’s Boutique website, so for more information on designer women’s clothes, occasion dresses and boutique clothing please go to https://www.wendysboutique.co.nz .
