Personal Care Managers Available at Accent Home Care

Self-funded clients at Accent Home Care have a range of facilities available to make daily living easy. They can have access to personal care managers who can assist with home help, personal care, cleaning, nursing care, respite care, gardening, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, case management and coordination, social support and medication management.

Accent Home Care personal care managers sit down with the family, understand their goals and needs and help create individualised and flexible care plans. Their care managers are multilingual and can provide guidance and support to people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Where required, translation services are also available to make the process seamless and comfortable. Accent Home Care provides choices and enables the consumer to set their own goals and direct those goals higher by themselves or with the assistance of their family, friends, carers and/or a designated Care Advisor.

The Home Care Packages Program provides older people who want to stay at home with access to a range of ongoing personal services, support services and clinical care that help them with their day-to-day activities. The program is part of the Australian Government’s continuum of care for older people in Australia, providing services between the Commonwealth Home Support Program and residential aged care.

Accent Home Care has packages available for the care, services and case management to meet the individual needs of older Australians. Home care package recipients are not limited to a basic list of services.  Approved providers like Accent Home Care work with each of their clients to select services that best meet each individual’s care needs and goals. In order to become eligible for a government funded home care package clients can contact My Aged Care and request an assessment. Alternatively, they can also arrange private home care services which are self-funded on a private basis.
