Rangitahi announces the start of the stage 2 (also known as ‘The Retreat’) construction on the Rangitahi Peninsula. Rangitahi Project is the newest urban sustainable neighbourhood that is soon to adorn the coastal paradise of west coast of New Zealand.

The Rangitahi project is a 550-section development on Rangitahi peninsula that extends out into the harbour. The land is owned and being developed by the Peacocke family, the project aims to provide land to people from all walks of life that are keen to join the laid-back lifestyle of the seaside community and build a house of their dreams in the Raglan Peninsula.

Incorporating The New Zealand Green Building Council’s six-star Homestar rating into the design rules, the Rangitahi project will be built on the foundation of sustainable, energy-efficient homes. The sections shall be priced at $275,000 and upwards.

The Retreat is the second stage of the Rangitahi Project and is closely connected to the first stage (also known as ’The village Core’) via walkways and recreational green spaces. It offers the dream coastal lifestyle complete with waterfront sections overlooking the inner harbour, Mount Karioi and the Raglan golf course. The size of the sections within The Retreat range from 400 to 830m2.

The contract for The Retreat has been acquired by Hick Bros Civil Contractors, an Auckland-based company that has been building roading in the Waikato too. The construction of stage two will continue through the summer months, with completion scheduled for April-end, provided weather allows. Titles are anticipated for mid-2020.
