Memorial Service being held tonight for Karen Aim

Mayor Rick Cooper and Taupo Police have called for a memorial service to be held tonight for the community of Taupo to pay respect to Karen Aim, who was tragically killed during the early hours of yesterday morning.



Mayor Cooper is calling for the community to come together to pay its respects to Ms Aim, provide caring and unified support for her family and friends and to show their abhorrence of this horrific act.



The memorial service will take place at the intersection of Waikato St and Motutahae St (near Cherry Island) at 6.00pm.
