Water restrictions for Thames Coromandel

Thames Coromandel District Council wishes to announce the following water restrictions are in place until further notice.


• TOTAL SPRINKLER AND HOSE BAN

The use of sprinklers and hoses are banned in the following

communities:

MATATOKI



• SPRINKLER BAN

The use of sprinklers is banned in the following communities:

TAIRUA, PAUANUI, COROMANDEL, WHANGAMATA



• THERE ARE NO WATER RESTRICTIONS CURRENTLY IN

PLACE FOR THE FOLLOWING COMMUNITIES:



Thames, Matarangi, Whitianga, Hahei, Onemana, Puriri

WATER CONSERVATION TIPS FOR RESIDENTS AND VISITORS



These water restrictions will remain in place for Tuesday 5 February and Wednesday 6 February. They will be reviewed after this date and are available on the council’s website www.tcdc.govt.nz under the public notices section.
