LYFE - The Linwood Youth Festival Experience

The L.Y.F.E festival is a unique event that celebrates Youth achievement in Linwood and the wider community. The LYFE event has a huge youth input with a focus on bringing families and the wider community together. The Kaupapa is to develop pride and build strong and positive relationships between Linwood youth and their community, by profiling local youth achievement.


We are continuing our high standard of tradition by bringing back favourite activities and a feast of music: hip hop, R&B, reggae, acoustic, classical and rock along with traditional and contemporary sounds of Aotearoa and the Pacific.


Activities will include Climbing Wall, Giant Games, kids rides, Sidecar rides, and ice skiing and so much more. There will also be food stalls on the day.


The event is on at Linwood Park on Sunday 8 March 2008 from 12noon till 4pm
