Refuse and Recycling Alterations due to the Easter Break

For one week only, due to the Easter weekend, the refuse and recycling collections scheduled for a Monday pick up, will be undertaken one day later than normal on Tuesday 25th March.
To ensure collection, please place no more than two bags of refuse at the boundary of the property by 8am on your allocated day of collection.
Newspapers and magazines, food and drink cans, plastic bottles and flattened cardboard can be placed into the green recycling bags for collection. Please do NOT place glass bottles or jars into the recycling bags, as presently it is not possible to accept these for recycling.
Hurunui District Council’s transfer stations will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday, with normal opening hours resuming on Tuesday 25th March.
