Fire ban lifted but permits still required

Council have lifted the Total Fire Ban for the Taupo District but there is still a restriction on open fires meaning a fire permit is required.
 

Fire permits can be arranged at any Council office and are free of charge.

Taupo District Council urges everyone to be fire safe.
