HAWKE'S BAY

Children of the eighties rejoice! Paul Young is laying his hat at the Hawke’s Bay Opera House on Saturday, November 8 and tickets are on sale now.

He’ll be joined by an all-star backing band which includes Alan Mansfield (Dragon), Warren Trout (Men at Work) and New Zealand’s very own Sharon O’Neill.

Paul will perform all his massive hits…. and possibly some new songs too.

Unbelievably, it 25 years since the release of Paul Young’s solo debut album, ‘No Parlez’, featuring the number one hit Wherever I Lay My Hat, which maintained the top spot for most of the summer of ’83.

He followed that with chart toppers Come Back and Stay and Every Time You Go Away, which cleaned up both US and UK charts - confirming his status as a world star.

He was also a contributor to Band Aid’s Do they Know Its Christmas.

So find your puff-ball skirt or your ‘Frankie Says…’ tee and get your gang together for a fun night of 80’s nostalgia!

Book through Ticket Direct 0800 4 TICKETS (0800 4842 538).
